International Federation of Anti Leprosy Associations

International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations (ILEP) is an international federation of fourteen autonomous non-government anti-leprosy organizations.  Membership of ILEP enhances the capacity of these Member Associations to work towards the common goal of a world without Leprosy.

 

 

Member representatives from ten member organizations are actively participating in the leprosy control programme  in India.  These ILEP member representatives in India support National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NELP) through:

 

· Direct support to Government of India and State Government

· Projects operated directly

· Local NGO project

ILEP member’s organizations provide a broad spectrum of services including management of Leprosy and its complications, reconstructive surgery and socioeconomic rehabilitation.  Technical support to government is a major concern.
